Terms of Service

Access to and use of the OKFotovoltaico platform (hereinafter "Platform"), operated by SolarMatch S.r.l. (hereinafter "SolarMatch"), are subject to full acceptance of these Terms of Service. By using the Platform, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform provides a free energy consultation service through the virtual assistant Sofia, based on artificial intelligence. The service includes: • Analysis of energy consumption based on data provided by the user. • Indicative sizing of a photovoltaic system. • Estimation of costs, savings, and return on investment. • Connection with verified photovoltaic installers in the user's area. The service is free for end users (property owners). SolarMatch is sustained through referral commissions paid by partner installers.

Basic consultation does not require registration. For advanced features (session saving, receiving quotes, report download), an email address may be required. The user undertakes to provide truthful and accurate information. SolarMatch reserves the right to suspend access in case of fraudulent or abusive use.

Information provided by the assistant Sofia is automatically generated through artificial intelligence and is purely indicative and informational. Important: • Energy production estimates are based on PVGIS data (European Commission) and parameters provided by the user. Actual results may vary. • Financial calculations (costs, savings, ROI) are estimates based on tariffs and incentives in force at the time of consultation and are subject to change. • No information provided by the Platform constitutes a binding offer, professional advice, or certified technical opinion. • An on-site inspection by the installer is always required for a definitive quote. SolarMatch does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated information.

The user undertakes to: • Provide accurate and truthful information during the consultation. • Not use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or bad-faith purposes. • Not attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the Platform. • Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without authorisation. • Not upload offensive, defamatory, or illegal content in conversations with Sofia.

All Platform content (text, graphics, software, algorithms, trademarks) is the property of SolarMatch or their respective owners and is protected by intellectual property laws. The user receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use of the Platform. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of content without written authorisation is prohibited.

SolarMatch is not liable for: • Direct or indirect damages arising from the use of AI-generated estimates and information. • The quality, timing, or results of work performed by partner installers (SolarMatch facilitates contact but is not party to the installation contract). • Service interruptions due to maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure. • Decisions made by the user based on information received from the Platform. SolarMatch's total liability to the user is limited to the maximum amount paid by the user for the service (currently zero, as it is free).

Installers on the Platform are verified by SolarMatch according to qualification criteria (certifications, experience, reviews). However: • SolarMatch does not provide guarantees regarding installer performance. • Any contractual relationship between the user and installer is independent of SolarMatch. • Any disputes relating to installation must be resolved directly between user and installer. SolarMatch is committed to removing installers who receive substantiated reports of misconduct from the platform.

Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy, available at the /privacy page of the Platform, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

SolarMatch reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective from the date of publication on this page. Continued use of the Platform after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. In the event of substantial changes, a notification will be sent via email to registered users.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute arising from the use of the Platform, the Court of Rome has jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions (Legislative Decree 206/2005, Consumer Code) which provide for jurisdiction of the court of the consumer's place of residence.
